What We Do

On Call Protekt is a marketplace platform that connects security providers (agencies and police departments) with customers (businesses and event organizers) who need security services. We facilitate the connection—we do not provide security services ourselves.

Eligibility

To use On Call Protekt, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate information
• For providers: Hold valid security licensing and insurance as required by your state

User Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

For Security Providers

By using the Service as a provider, you agree that:

• You hold all required licenses, permits, and insurance
• Your credentials are current and accurate
• You will perform services professionally and lawfully
• You are responsible for your employees and subcontractors
• You are an independent contractor, not an employee of On Call Protekt

For Customers

By using the Service as a customer, you agree that:

• You will provide accurate job details
• You will pay for services as agreed
• You will approve or dispute hours promptly after job completion
• Your interactions with providers are your responsibility

Payments

• Customers pay for services through the platform
• Providers receive payment via direct deposit after job completion and hour approval
• On Call Protekt charges a service fee, which is deducted from provider payments
• All fees are disclosed before transactions are completed

Cancellations

• Cancellation policies vary by job and provider
• Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in account restrictions
• We reserve the right to charge cancellation fees as disclosed

Ratings and Reviews

• Users may rate and review each other after completed jobs
• Reviews must be honest and based on actual experience
• We may remove reviews that violate our guidelines
• Manipulating ratings is prohibited

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Provide false information
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions

Content You Provide

• You own the content you submit (profiles, messages, photos)
• You grant us a license to use this content to operate the Service
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate laws or third-party rights

Disclaimer

Limitation of Liability

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold On Call Protekt harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

Termination

• You may close your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• We may discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice

Disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of California
• Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
• You waive your right to participate in class actions

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
